Michael J Evans

Michael J Evans. Is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, and is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates. Evans founded his own law firm in September 2009, focusing on helping debtors file for bankruptcy. Michael J Evans was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in September 2009, after spending the previous two years practicing as a member of Largen, PLC.

Evans is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA), a non-profit organization that advocates for consumers in financial situations. Evans also has experience litigating in state and federal courts and has won numerous civil cases involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Truth in Lending Act. He has also won numerous civil cases involving the Virginia Consumer Protection Act. Mr. Michael J. Evans is very well acquainted with the bankruptcy laws and the judicial system in general.

Michael J. Evans worked as an attorney for the law firm of Largen & Evans, PLC in Abingdon and Wytheville, VA, where he represented debtors in bankruptcy court. Evans has extensive experience representing consumers in court proceedings in the federal court system. Evans spent more than 30 years working at Largen, PLC, in Abingdon and Wytheville, VA, helping clients with their Social Security Disability, and work-related claims.

Mr. Michael J. Evans is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), a state bar in Virginia, and a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates. Evans studied at the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he graduated in May 2001. He attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he graduated in 1995. Mr. Michael J. Evans graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1995.

Mr. Snodgrass has been licensed by the state of Virginia, the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia and Eastern District of TN, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia and Eastern District of TN and is also an active business representative of the National Association of Consumer Advocates.

 

Steven Knox

Mr. Steven Knox is a very experienced attorney who has tried cases involving anything from speed tickets to felony crimes. Steven Knox has vast experience working on cases on all sides of the fence, from clients who were convicted to those who were innocent. He learned about the different aspects of the court system that are expected of lawyers in every case. Mr. Steven Knox has the experience to defend clients more thoroughly, clearly and expeditiously.

Mr. Steven Knox was a law clerk to the Honorable Justice, now Chief Justice, Cynthia Kinser, of the Supreme Court of Virginia, where he gained vast experience in both the prosecution and defense of individuals accused of serious crimes. Justice Cynthia D. Kinsler, now the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia. Mr. Steven Knox has extensive experience in legal research and writing, and the ability to understand and deal with complicated legal issues.

Mr. Steven Knox was a graduate of the Appalachia Law School in Grundy, Virginia, where he was a member of the law review’s Managing/ Business Editor’s team, a member of the Moot Court team, and served as an assistant to the law
